Originally from San Diego, I moved to Panama with my now ex seeking simplicity and quality of life for less money. I return regularly to stay current...and, who knows, maybe I'll be back someday making better decisions as a result of all that I have learned.
A couple years into my life there, I realized something critical: there were almost no resources telling the real story of expat life in Panama—the underside of the beauty. That gap felt too big to ignore. So I didn't.
